How do I log my reading?
Tap "I read today" on the Today screen. That's the whole loop: one tap per day. Your streak, heatmap, and stats update from there.
I forgot to log a day. Can I fix it?
Yes. Go to Activity, switch to Month, and tap any past day to mark it as read. Tap a marked day to remove it. Your history is always yours to edit.
What are monthly recaps?
At the start of each month, RHT shows a recap of the month that ended: days read, longest run, and books finished. Past recaps stay available forever via "View recap" on each month card in Activity.
How do I add books?
Use the Search tab to find books via Open Library (this needs an internet connection), then add them to your shelf. Everything else about your shelf works offline.
Where is my data stored?
All your reading data is stored locally on your device. There is no account and no cloud sync. You can export everything as a JSON file from Settings, and deleting the app deletes your data.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Logging, streaks, heatmaps, recaps, and your shelf all work offline. Only book search and cover images need a connection.
How do app updates work?
Bug fixes arrive automatically. You can also pull the latest fixes yourself: Settings, then "Get the latest bug fixes".
